OUR HISTORY

Newberry Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Clinic, Inc. was founded by Dr. Mark A. Waldrop in 1996. Dr. Waldrop had worked in Newberry for 2 years in the early 1990's and realized the need for an outpatient physical therapy facility. NPT started out in a 1000 square foot facility in a strip mall and has since expanded two times-once in 1999 and again in 2008. NPT now occupies a 5,000-square foot building with 3 full time Doctors of Physical Therapy. Our services have expanded from treating general orthopedics to an all-inclusive outpatient facility.
